Louis Diaz “is really happy” in Liverpool amid speculation about his future with the Premier League champions.
Diaz scored 17 goals and presented five passes in all competitions in 2024-25, and he is his best season since joining the 2022 of Porto.
Thirteen of Diaz’s goals contributed to Liverpool’s Premier League raising the Premier League title.
Diaz has a contract with Liverpool until the end of the 2026-27 season, but it was linked to the transition.
Barcelona is a fan of Colombia International, while the Saudi Al -Nasr team was also credited with interest in its services.
But in an interview with the official Liverpool website, Diaz explained that he was satisfied with Anfield.
Diaz said, “I feel I am really suffering from a good time,” Diaz said. “I am really happy to be here, to be part of this great institution, this wonderful club and they have teammates around me.
“From the moment I arrived, I felt a great pride. I have always tried to work hard for this, and I see that things now are working for me proudly and I am really happy because this is what I work for.
(But) We are Nobs without our teammates. We are a team. The attackers and wing always try to help with goals and help, and now they have achieved good numbers to support this.
“It comes to playing and then playing well, supporting the team the way I play and enjoy, as is always the case.”
Liverpool won the title by winning 5-1 over Tottenham in April.
When asked about his emotions that day, Diaz said: “I remembered a lot of things when I was a child.
“I wanted to play with a big team, and I dreamed of playing in the Premier League and playing for such an important club as Liverpool.
“And because I went through many difficult situations, to be here today and that I won the English Premier League title means that you remember many things, and I am happy with them.
“I don’t think many of them believed in us (at the beginning of the season). We have shown what we were in the day, a day outside, since the beginning of the season.
“We started getting the results and moving forward clearly. We learned to believe in what we have, while the manager asked us and the team is full of quality and great players and this makes things a little easier.
“Then the results help, by 100 percent. You have more motivation, you are working more seriously and this is what I think happened.”
