Los Angeles fanatics and sports teams team up to donate funds from new #LAStrong apparel in response to wildfires

Fanatics announced on Friday that it has partnered with 15 Los Angeles-based professional sports teams and leagues to release #LAStrong merch as Forest fires are sweeping the region.

“My heart is breaking as we all watch the horror continue to spread throughout Los Angeles and upend the lives of so many people. The devastation caused by these fires is unimaginable,” Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin wrote in a statement.

“Many people I consider family, including our employees out there, have been directly impacted, and our organization is coming together to try to make a real impact as quickly as possible. Today, we’re proud to team up with the Los Angeles sports community to launch the ‘LA Strong’ merchandise collection “New.”

Robin added that 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the American Red Cross “as they continue their heroic works to help as many people as possible.”

“What is happening is absolutely devastating, and it is our duty to use our platform in any way we can… We are working around the clock to find ways to provide additional relief efforts in Los Angeles. #LAStrong.”
