He appears to have fallen down the pecking order at Camp Nou under Hansi Flick. The German appears to prefer teenagers Marc Casado and Pedri in the double pivot, leaving Javy to be relegated to an option mostly used off the bench. He has made 12 appearances this season but has only played 241 minutes.
