England are just one win away from confirming their place in the 2026 World Cup.

Thomas Tuchel’s side travel to Latvia this evening knowing that a win will be enough to secure a place in the USA, Canada and Mexico next summer after Serbia’s loss at the weekend.

The Three Lions still have a job to do, and they will take nothing for granted as they look to get over the line.

And after a strong performance and win over Wales a few days ago, there is no reason to believe there will be any missteps in their travels this week.

Read on to find out how the two teams line up for this qualifying encounter.

England national team news

Tuchel has had a lot of selection issues since taking over as England coach, and there have been a few surprising selections so far during his tenure.

But the German coach did not choose to change much about the win over Wales.

The main difference is that skipper Harry Kane is well fit at the back and available to lead the line, while Myles Lewis Skelly gets another nod at left-back, with Jed Spence shifting to the right.

Elliot Anderson is also involved again, as is Anthony Gordon, who comes in for Marcus Rashford.

England: Pickford, Konsa, Stones, Spence, Lewis Shelley, Anderson, Rice, Saka, Rogers, Gordon, Kane.
