LG has launched a number of… OLED TVs are impressive This year CESBut the device that is likely to outsell them all – the LG C5 – has yet to be officially announced. CNET’s David Katzmaier got a personal view of the C5 model, which features a surprising number of sizes, higher refresh rates, and improved image quality.

The LG OLED evo AI C5 – to use its full name – is a 4K OLED with similar features to the G5 including Brightness Booster (although not Ultimate), Nvidia G-Sync 144Hz support, and a host of AI elements (you probably won’t used).

Watch this: LG G5 OLED TV increases brightness to a higher level

Over the past few years, the LG C series has been at the forefront of our product lineup TV Lists for the Best OLEDsince it usually has excellent image quality and a relatively reasonable price. The latest version is LGC 4It was priced at $1,400 for a 65-inch screen. At the same time, G4S and Z95s Of this world it costs twice as much.

Why does LG choose not to announce this model? M5, G5, and OLED T They’re getting flashier, and the company says the brightness of its high-end 2025 models is up to 40% better. In comparison, the changes made to the C Line have been incremental since the C3, so it makes sense that the company hasn’t promoted it. While LG has also confirmed the existence of the B5 Tech RadarThis TV was not shown.

Pricing and availability are not yet known, but the C4 was released in March 2024, so we’ll likely see this version sooner rather than later. I expect the initial price to be in the mid $2000s like before.
