Lewis Hamilton says that the success of his time with Ferrari should be judged after “a few years” with the team, instead of the opening stages of his first campaign with the Italian team.
Hamilton joined Ferrari at a great key after spending 12 years in Mercedes, but he carries a disappointing start for the 2025 season.
Ferrari was expected to be the main McLaren competitor for the title, but he retracted 152 points of the ruling constructive heroes after only six rounds of the new season.

“For me, I do not judge our success in a short amount of races, half a season, one season.
“Let’s talk at the end of my career here in Ferrari, at the end of a few years here in Ferrari, then let’s talk about what we did. That is when we can look back and say whether we are successful or not.
“These few months are to pave the stones towards the place we go, and that is.”

Ferrari, along with a large part of this field, is expected to come to Emola, with the first European race of the season, a record front point for new parts.
Hamilton is optimistic that the new parts can enable him to start improving his position in the seventh place in the driver’s ranking, as it was already 90 points from the leader Oscar Bayastiri.

After they were left clearly disappointed by many of his modern offers for the team, Hamilton explained the mental approach that enables him to continue fighting.
He said: “In the end, it comes to the self -faith that you have, and it is just a mentality. I really think I am far from perfection, and I really think every day I can do it better, I can try more difficult, and if I fail, I try again.
“When it decreases, I have tools I use. I don’t really listen to all things. There are many rumors, many people who make assumptions, comments and rulings – 99 per cent of them don’t really know what is happening, perhaps 100 percent do not know what I am going today.
