American amateur hero Jose Lewis rejected the opportunity to try to win the PGA Tour card by joining Liv Golf League in a multi -year deal.

The graduate of the Arizona state ranked third in the PgA Tour University classification, which allowed him to play in the Korn Ferry tour – the level below the PGA tour – for the rest of the 2025 season, but he rejected the membership provided.

“We are very excited about Joseli’s accession to the team,” said Garcia. “Personally, I knew him (Joseily) because he could have captured a golf club and worked with my father (Victor) as his coach throughout his jolf career.

“Joseily will be a great addition not only to fire balls, but also to the Lev League and I cannot wait until I am with him next to him as he releases his professional appearance.”

He ranked sixth in the world amateur golf classification, winning European amateurs for 2023 before his American amateur beat Noah Kent last summer. He finished his university career taking into account the quarter in the NCAA championship.

“I would like to thank my family, my coach, friends and the state of Arizona State for support and faith in me to reach this step of my career,” he said. “I am very excited about the opportunity to join GC fire balls and continue to learn from Sergio and other great people.”

Abraham Ansheer and Carlos Ortez are the other players in the football squad, while he will remain in the field for the US Open – from 12 to 15 June on Sky Sports Golf – as American amateur hero.

Clinton is enthusiastic for “Dream” PGA TOUR for the first time

David Ford ended the summit of the PgA Tour University classification, where he became a graduate of American university professionals and achieved their first start as members of the PGA tour in RBC Canadian Open.

Luke Clinton and Gordon Sargent also got their membership through the University of PGA Tour, where the players win points based on their results in college, amateurs and professional golf during the first three years of the university.

“Look, Gordon and David officially welcomes the PGA Tour family at the beginning of an exciting three -star journey, and more stars emphasize why this is the most competitive round in the world,” said PGA Jay Monhman’s CAO Commissioner.

Clinton, who has just completed a novice season in Florida’s state of amateurs 1, has already four of the top 10 years – including runner -up in 2024 John Derry Classic and 2024 RSM Classic – during his career in the PGA tour as amateur.

“It is something you always dream of,” said Clinton before the Canadian Open RBC. “To be here now here and to call myself a little professional – frankly, a little strange at first.

“It is amazing. I’m just excited to go here and compete. It is not a matter of money. It’s not about any fame. It is about competing with these men on a tour. It is something that I have chased all my life, especially my family.”
