Leeds United began the recruitment campaign before returning to the Premier League by agreeing on a deal with Germany, Lucas Nicha.

The 26 -year -old, who can work anywhere around the foreground, will join the West Yorkshire Club on July 1 after he succeeded in negotiating conditions in a two -year first deal on Island Street.

NMECH started in Manchester City, where loans in Preston, Middlesbro and Andlecht enjoyed, before joining Wolfsburg in 2021.

73 games for the Bundesliga club in the league and a cup, and scored 19 goals.

Nmecha says that joining Leeds is a “big challenge”

“It is just a big challenge and I am very excited to get to know the team,” Nmecha, who also won seven dimensions for Germany.

“I spoke to the manager several times, and I am excited to play this style of football they played in the tournament, even in the Premier League.

“I saw that there was dominance last season in terms of possession and goals. I am a striker, so this is clear to me.

“Of course, in the English Premier League, there are some big boys where you cannot play this way all the time, but I think the idea of โ€‹โ€‹the manager is to play good football and possess football, and this is what I used to do and what I like to do.

“I hope we can go now, but we still have a few weeks before the pre -season season, and we get running all! But, I can’t wait to start training now.”
