Washington leaders seek a field played at the old RFK stadium site in the capital, a big step forward on Friday as president Donald Trump Click on the organization’s title.

Bowser, the owner of team Josh Harris and US Football Association Commissioner Roger Godel, announced an agreement with the capital’s officials at the old RFK stadium site in April. Then the three joined Trump at the Oval Office to celebrate after that.
The accredited proposal will support a 3.7 billion dollar redevelopment project, and it includes the new stadium, and 6000 housing units in the retail space and gardens. The nation’s capital will also host the upcoming US Football Association’s draft at the National Commercial Center in 2027.
“The approval of the council today turns to the capital and returns the leaders to our spiritual house. Now we are closer to ever to reformulate this energy to a new generation,” Harris said in a statement.
“This is a historical moment. This project is more than presenting a global stadium that deserves our players, fans and the region. It is related to reactivating a critical part of our city, creating thousands of jobs and canceling long -term economic benefits for boycotting. We look forward to working with our masses, community scale, and gathered officials to move to this vision.”
