A recovery process was launched before the evening of July 29.

“She lost her life in her beloved mountains. She will be remembered forever.”

German President Frank Walter Steinmeier said that Dahlamir was “an ambassador to our country all over the world and a role model for peaceful coexistence, joy and just across the border.”

Like Dahlmeier, experienced mountain climber, Germany in the Winter Olympics, and won two medals and one bronze medal in Pyeongchang in 2018.

She was the first woman to win enemy’s activities and follow -up in the same games and won 15 other medals, including seven gold, in all world championships before retirement from the competition in May 2019.
