Andrea Stella, director of the McLaren team, revealed one of the main pillars of his strategy to avoid growth in the developing with the intensification of the battle of the title between Oscar Bayastiri and Lando Norris.
Pasri Norris led to the home in McLaren one in the Spanish Grand Prix race earlier in June to expand his teammate at the top of the drivers championship to 10 points.
Miscellaneous, their closest rival, world champion, Max Versaben, claimed only one point when he finished tenth, leaving the Red Ball driver 49 points from the top of the standing of the Canadian Canadian award this week.
The Barcelona event presented a double batch of McLaren, as their strong performance dispelled the idea that the introduction of a technical guidance limits the front wings bending that would deviate from their dominant path to the season and bring the proverbs of Verstapen to more competition for the title.
A moment of the range of Verstapen, where the Dutchman went to Mercedes George Russell and incurred a 10 -second penalty that brought him up to ten, then the duo presented McLaren with a breathing space.
However, there are positives and negatives for that, with the feeling that the battle quickly has become a bilateral racing only to increase tension in the McLaren garage, with both PiaSSTRI and Norris looking for the crown of drivers before virgin.
Speaking after the race in Barcelona, Stella said: “The management of Formula 1 drivers compete for the same team in a quick car and in the pursuit of the tournament will always be a difficult issue.
“But until now we have dealt with it in a way that I think she allowed both drivers to express their qualities and speed, and it has been a relatively good process so far.”
“Only” – Stella’s ruling on the comment “Corp” from Pastere
The closest thing came to controversy among the McLaren drivers in the period when Nuris seemed to benefit from the clouds of Piasstri at the beginning of his first bosom in Q3.
Pastari, who is clearly surprised to see his teammate in his mirrors, began a flying bosom when he ended himself, on the team’s radio that he was “Cev”.
I may feel irritation that he had eased through the fact that he was out of Norris in the second quarter -race race to take the pole, with the disposal of the accident at the press conference after the session.
Stella said the accident had provided a useful opportunity to remind drivers of saying exactly what they are thinking about any controversial topic, but it may be “simple.”
The Italian said: “The (qualifiers) had a simple situation.
“In this case, Oscar’s comment was highlighting a situation that we had not discussed before. In itself, nothing is very controversial, but we have not discussed it before and we do not want to surprise our drivers with cases that we have not discussed before.
“So a little to face the team instead of drivers. We have to do some homework and be more prepared for the upcoming races, which will definitely be interesting.”
“Pre -race surroundings do not become more stringent.”
Although admitting that he expects a “interesting” period in McLaren, Stella insists that, at the present time, the team’s surroundings before the race were not more disturbing.
The Spanish Grand Prize race is the first occasion since the opening race of the season in which the McLaren Front duo, which acknowledges the Stella, participated in additional reminder of its drivers on the rules of behavior.
He said: “The briefing (before the race) does not get more difficult.
“The conversations are the same as we have always.
“But so far I can only be very grateful for Lando and Oscar, who dealt with this internal competition with a great sense of responsibility – and adhere to the message to what our principles and approach are.”
