Kongsberg to provide advanced training simulations for the Greek Capital Group

Kongsberg Maritime has received a Capital Group contract to deliver the K-SIM engines and simulators to process goods for a new training facility located on the island of Cheyus, Greece.

This initiative aims to improve training standards for the crew, focusing on both training standards, certification and monitoring (STW) and identifying automation systems on board.

Simulating devices are scheduled to be delivered by the end of June 2025.

Simulations will integrate K-C-REEF automation systems, which are currently used on Capital Group and gas tankers for LNG.
