Kody Brown criticized for not taking ‘accountability’

“When I first told everyone about it, it made me angry. But over time, they’ve moved on. I’ve gotten out of this relationship with these other wives. I’m, like, way more inclined to accept it.”

Cody’s statements sparked numerous comments from disgruntled fans, who found his lack of accountability annoying. Many criticized him for his poor treatment of his ex-wives — Kristen, Janelle, and Meri — while he favored Robyn.

“He will never take responsibility for what he did to his family!” one IG user declared, noting that they understand why he was separated from his children. They used their experience with their father to connect with Cody’s kids, adding:

“There’s not much you can do when you have a father who constantly gaslights, lies, manipulates, and most importantly, won’t take responsibility for his actions and the impact they have on your life! I hope they all find healing.”

Another critic echoed similar sentiments, writing, “He likes to make up what Kristen said to the kids. They saw how he treated their mothers versus how he was with Robyn for years.” A third critic wrote: “There’s no one left. He has no choice but to call a crying Robyn his soul mate.”
