Katie Porter from California was caught on video berating an employee during a 2021 call

A video obtained by Politico and published on Wednesday shows California Democratic candidate for state governor Katie Porter reprimands a staff member during a 2021 video call after she walked in on her shot.

In the clip, then-U.S. Rep. Porter, D-Calif., is seen speaking with Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm about energy and climate issues. At some point, an employee entered the frame, prompting Porter to snap and yell, “Get out of the f***ing shot!”

She also scolded the employee for appearing in the background before.

“You were in my picture before that,” Porter said. “Stay out of my shot.”

Politico noted that Porter’s outburst was edited out of the final transcript of the DOE webinar.

Porter’s campaign did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

The resurfaced footage follows another viral clip that surfaced this week Porter criticizes At a reporter and trying to end the interview.

Porter, considered by many to be the favorite in the race, responded, “How do I need them to win, ma’am?”

“Well, unless you think you’re going to get 60 percent of the vote,” Watts said, prompting Porter to laugh.

Porter’s tension grew and she backed away from the question, arguing about whether she needed to court Trump voters, especially if she was running head-to-head against another Democrat.

“So you don’t need them to win,” Watts asked Porter.

“I feel like this is unnecessarily controversial,” Porter said, prompting the reporter to point out that she had asked the same question to the other candidates in the race, and they had answered it.

“I don’t want to keep doing it, I’ll call it,” Porter said.

“You’re not going to do the interview?” Watts said as Porter tried to remove her microphone.

“No, it’s not, not with seven follow-ups for every question you ask,” Porter replied.

When Watts reminded Porter that all the candidates had answered the question, Porter said, “I don’t care.”

Pressed further, Porter told Watts that she “didn’t want to have an unhappy experience with you” and that she didn’t “want all of this on camera.”
