Taking to Instagram, Bieber shared photos from his ongoing vacation in Aspen.

In one photo, the singer, wearing a strangely shaped hat and covered with a duvet, is seen lighting a bong that fans believe contains marijuana.

He also posted two additional photos showing him inhaling and exhaling smoke from a bong.

The remaining footage showed the singer holding what appeared to be a smoking device.

While marijuana is legal in Colorado, the state where Aspen is located, that hasn’t stopped a torrent of complaints from fans criticizing the act.

In the comments section of Bieber’s post, fans were concerned about his use of the bong, especially since it was posted shortly after reports emerged of marital problems between him and his wife, Hailey.

One wrote: “What a good example of a bad father. Congratulations,” while another asked: “You have a baby now and this is what you choose to post?”

A third person noted: “It’s time for him to grow up and be a father and a husband. No woman wants that for herself.”

Some fans also commented that there shouldn’t be any fuss about Bieber smoking marijuana.

The photos of Bieber come after a report emerged that he wants to start making music again in 2025.

Bieber allegedly “still owes” tour company AEG a “substantial sum” for canceling the tour and may now be looking to return to work to address that debt.

If Bieber plans to actively return to music, he will need to hire a new lineup of support staff, as he recently parted ways with manager Scooter Braun.

The singer has already hinted at working on new music, as he shared photos of himself in a creative setting over the weekend.

In one snapshot, Bieber can be seen singing into the microphone with his eyes closed while artist MK.gee taps his phone in the background.

Another shot appeared in a similar setting with both stars, but this time, MK.gee appeared intently focused on the creation process.

Adding to rumors that the singer intends to make a comeback, he was seen singing the lyrics to a new song earlier this month.

The lyrics to the hit song “Baby” go: “I take it / You take the bait / I shake it / You shake it / I shake the hate.”
