Justin Baldoni’s lawyer reveals Blake Lively’s alleged ‘pattern of bullying’

He continued: “We are publishing all the evidence that will show a pattern of bullying and threats to seize the film.” “None of this will come as a surprise because, consistent with her past behavior, Blake Lively used other people to deliver those threats and bully her way to get what she wanted. “Baldoni’s response to the lawsuit has been to launch more attacks against Ms. Lively since it was filed,” Lively’s lawyers noted, adding that “sexual harassment and retaliation are illegal in every workplace and in every industry.”

Lively’s lawyers listed two manipulation tactics used by the perpetrators in their statement, claiming that Baldoni and his team are trying to divert attention from the allegations against him.

“The classic tactic to deflect attention from allegations of this type of misconduct is to ‘blame the victim’ by suggesting that they fabricated the behavior, committed it, misunderstood the intentions, or even lied,” they said.

“Another classic tactic is to reverse the victim-perpetrator and suggest that the perpetrator is actually the victim,” the lawyers added. “These notions normalize and trivialize allegations of serious misconduct.”

Lively’s legal team also noted that “importantly, the media statements are not a defense to Ms. Lively’s legal claims.” He added: “We will continue to prosecute her claims in federal court, where the rule of law determines who will prevail, not exaggeration and threats.”
