Jonathan Barnet: A sports agent accused of rape in the American lawsuit Football news

Sports agent Jonathan Barnit was accused of rape in an American lawsuit.

Bernett is accused in a civil complaint filed on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

Before his retirement last year, his prominent customers were players such as Gareth Bell, Jack Grilliche and Ashley Cole.

A woman who has not been revealed as “Jin de” says she was smuggled to the United Kingdom in 2017.

In 2020, Barnett sold the Stars Group to the Hollywood Agency for ICM Partners. ICM later merged with the CAA competition, in a deal that was completed in 2022, which brought together the largest agencies in the world.

A statement issued by a CAA spokesman, who left Barnett in February 2024, read, “We first learned the allegations of Mrs. Du through a press investigation in January 2024 and the demands of the settlement from her lawyer.

“While the complaint tries to link these allegations to CAA work, Mrs. DOE was never an employee, consultant or contractor in CAA, ICM or Stellar, and she had no CAA, ICM or Stellar commercial connection.

“CAA takes any allegations of this type seriously, and through the lawyer, the lady urgently urged the law enforcement in the UK. Mr. Barnett came out Stellar in February 2024.”

He read a statement on behalf of Barnett from his lawyers: “We will strongly defend this lawsuit through the appropriate legal process. I look forward to completely disavowed.”
