As a resident of Tarzana, California, 21-year-old Siwa is among many residents of and around the Palisades area whose homes are in the direct path of the wildfires, which have reportedly claimed 10 lives and caused the evacuation of tens of thousands of others.

In the Instagram video, which was first posted on Wednesday by the “Karma” singer’s new friend, Australian actress Kath Epps, Siwa is seen throwing costumes from her music videos into the back of a car while audible warning alarms go off in the background.

Epps can be heard laughing off-camera as Siwa shows off a black rhinestone-encrusted bodysuit from the controversial “Karma” music video and a jeweled construction jacket last seen in 2024’s “Guilty Pleasure” music video.

When the words “Essentials…” appear on the screen, Siwa closes the back door and asks: “What else do you need?”

Later in the video, a distraught Epps questions Siwa as the artist carries a large projection screen through her luxury Los Angeles mansion.

“It’s my Boomerang costume,” the Nickelodeon star announced loudly, before adding: “This is my whole life!”

“Your whole life?” Epps repeats, puzzled. Which prompted Siwa to admit that she had already prepared more important things.

“I have all my legal documents. I’m going to fill the car with my favorite things,” she told Ebbs before heading out with the packed outfit.

Seconds later, we see Siwa returning to her home, where she shares that the things truly essential to her life were never in danger of being destroyed by a fire.

“All my family’s hard drives and all this[stuff]I have it somewhere else already,” she explained to Epps, before reaching into the cupboard to get a cup of rose petals.

“You’re not taking them with you,” Epps insists, to which Siwa replies: “I am.”

Although Ebb’s video of Siwa was eventually deleted, an update from the Australian creator struck a new chord with fans — as it turns out they didn’t have to evacuate the mansion.
