Joelmenton spoke to support his Newcastle Luis Miley teammate, admitting that it was difficult to see the teenager receiving online criticism after it should have been a milestone.

Miley recently celebrated his fiftieth appearance on the Magpies team with a post on X, although 19 -year -old responses are reserve because of his age.

While his performance at the weekend 0-0 with Bournemouth-his first start in the Premier League since February-was largely positive, a small section of supporters asked whether he was ready for the first team.

This reaction prompted a wave of encouragement from other fans, as club captain Bruno Gaimaris also described him as a “better player and man.”

Miley appeared again on Wednesday in the Carabau Cup 4-1 winning in Newcastle against Bradford City, where he participated in the Gowinton partnership in the midfield. The Brazilian was quickly supporting his younger colleague.

“It is always difficult when you see your teammate receiving,” said Goynton after a tie in the third round. “I spent a difficult time here too. I know how it is.

“I know that the fans are behind the team and a really good young player. He played well on Sunday. The team must improve and everyone must look at the mirror and improve.”

Gowlment added that his academy graduate is “a great future in front of him.”

Miley himself expressed his pride in his progress earlier in the week, describing supporters of Newcastle travelers as “amazing” and admitted that he was “very proud” to reach 50 senior matches on his childhood.

The height of the midfielder was quickly. During the penetration season two years ago, he scored many records – including becoming the youngest player ever to score in the Champions League for an English team, aged 17 years and 226 days.

However, it was not submitted without relapses. The injuries in his back and his foot led to his marginalization for important periods, while competition for midfields against the likes of Guimaraes, Joelinton and Sandro Tonali made Eddie Hao storm at the beginning of the eleventh challenging.

Nevertheless, Miley kept his place on the Hawa side of the interface with Bradford, and the manager praised his contribution:

“I thought Louis was excellent,” said Hao. “Partially, I think he really helped us in the first half. He played some beautiful, beautiful, short -pass -pass touches to midfield using JOE and Bruno as a starting point, truly, to control the midfield.

“He returned to the team and produced two really good shows. I thought he was good against Bournemouth, perhaps a little different from tonight, but he develops his experience all the time and I am happy with him.”
