Joe Rogan, one of the most influential voices in the American media, runs Donald Trump. The reason cuts deep: migration raids.
Rogan, who supported Trump a few hours before the 2024 presidential elections, says he is now misled by the man who helped him strengthen. PodCaster commentator and UFC commentator, known to give a platform to anti -alert culture figures and freedom of expression advocates, takes on Trump to betray his values.
“We were told that there would be …”, Rogan started during a July 2 episode of the experience of Joe Rogan, before he abandoned them and returned calibration. “There are two crazy things. One of them is targeting migrant workers, not the cartoon members, not gang members, not drug dealers, only building workers who appear on construction sites, dismiss them. Gardeers. Like, really?”
His guest, Amjad Masad, the Palestinian founder and CEO of Taris Coding Company. The two were discussing the Trump administration campaign against immigrants, especially in the context of escalating tensions on Gaza and political speech in American universities.
Mesad had made recent reports on the enforcement of immigration and customs (ICE) targeting Palestinian students and immigrants with false factions. “Did you see the video of the Turkish student at the University of Tats, who wrote an article?” He asked.
Rogan replied, “I was criticizing Israel, right? This is enough to get you out of the country?”
The two referred to the increasing concern that legal political discourse, especially Israel’s criticism, is increasingly used as reasons for the abolition of visas and its deportation under the immigration policy that was revived in Trump.

Rogan’s support and regret
Once on November 4, 2024, Rogan Trump supported social media, just before the elections. It was a strong indication of his huge base of male followers.
Rogan wrote at the time: “The great and strong @elonmusk. If it is not for him, we will have sex,” Rogan wrote at that time. “He makes what I think is the most persuasive cases of Trump that you will hear, and I agree with him every step on the road. For the record, yes, this is support for Trump.”
The post achieved more than 50 million views. But after less than a year, Rogan seems to reconsider.
Great and strong Elonmusk.
If not for him, we will have fucked. He makes what I think is the most persuasive situations of Trump that you will hear, and I agree with him every step on the road.
For the record, yes, this support for Trump.

While he explained that he would never vote in favor of Kamal Harris, Rogan is now deceiving. The immigration policy, which is believed to focus on violent criminals, has instead has become a broader campaign on migrant societies, including the legal population, students and workers.
From America first to raids and fear
During the campaign, Trump pledged a mass deportation of illegal immigrants, but he insisted that the focus would be on criminals and gang members. His gatherings were distinguished by members of the alleged MS-13 members and claiming that his plan “will clean the streets”.
But now after returning to the White House, the reality looks different. According to the files of modern court and ice data, many of the arrested or deported people do not have criminal records at all.
This contradiction is what drives Rogan to speak publicly. He built his brand about originality and freedom of expression. It suggests that Trump’s current approach emanates from it the smell of authoritarianism more than politics.
“Fascism is always a response to communism,” said Rogan in the same podcast, quoting Anthony Resbo, a student of psychology and neuroscience at Columbia University. “What we experience in this country is this continuous correction. Excessive correction to the left, then excessive correction to the right, to face it.”
In other words, Rogan wonders whether Trump’s policies are a very excessive correction, and if they resemble fascism more than freedom.

Musk, Doug, and breaking the alliance of its brothers
It reflects the disappointment of Rogan Elon Musk, another former Trump ally. Musk, who is now headed by the Ministry of Government efficiency (DOGE), has become one of Trump critics since Congress approved “one beautiful draft law”, which is the legislation to reduce EV subsidies, immigration protection, and environmental incentives.
Musk is now threatening to start a third political party. While Trump can ignore the Tesla CEO, he cannot easily clean Joe Rogan. Why? Because they share in the same audience: the indignant men, the anti -institutional voters, the young libertarians, and the people who are tired of traditional policy.
If this group is forced to choose between Trump and Rogan, the result may significantly affect the 2026 academic renewal elections and future political landscapes.
