Joan Anderson, who helped create Hola Touq, dies at the age of 101

Joan Anderson, who formulated the name Hula Hooop and played an unknown role in its ascension, died at the age of 101.

The former model was visiting Australia’s hometown of her home in the United States when she monitored groups of people who revolve between wooden hoops around their peculiarities.

It was so fascinated by the growing madness in Australia to the point that it had one of the strange new games that are shipped to the United States.

Joan Constance Manning was born in Sydney on December 28, 1923, and worked as a swimwear model and met Wayne Anderson, a US military pilot, on Bondi Beach and married him shortly after.

Speaking to the BBC, the director behind the life story of Mrs. Anderson said: “The narration of the story of Joan was a rewarding experience.

“It was nine and the second of that when we met and even with everything he went through, she lived an amazing and complete life.

I have survived by two sons, daughter and six grandchildren. Another son, Karl, died in 2023.
