Jerry Adams, the former leader of the Shin Fein party in Ireland, won a high -level defamation against the BBC at the Supreme Court in Dublin after it was tried that the broadcaster had distorted his reputation as a peacemaker.

The jury was granted in the case, which lasted on Friday Adams76, 100,000 euros as compensation from the British broadcaster.

The case focused on allegations made by an unveiled source that was broadcast in a 2016 documentary film and his associate on the Internet claims that Adams has been punished for Dennis Donaldson, a British agent, was killed in 2006.

Adams sought damage of 200,000 euros and denied all the participation.
