Jennifer Lopez faces a $ 300,000 case on Instagram Post

A lawsuit is filed against the pop star and the actress for publishing pictures of photographers for herself without securing appropriate copyright licenses.

Disputes on the photos taken before the 2025 Golden Globe Awards focus on their Instagram and X accounts.

On Saturday, May 17, photographer Edwin Blanco and Backgrid USA lifted two federal invitations against Jennifer Lopez.

They claim that they participate in Lopez’s photos that stand outside the Amazon MGM Studios x Vanity Fair in Bar Marmont in Los Angeles on January 4, on the night before the Golden Globe Awards.

This case, which Berkovsky also dealt with, ended in the voluntary chapter in 2020.

“This previous litigation, Mrs. Lopez, made a notice regarding legal requirements and the potential consequences associated with the use of copyright images without sound permission,” Berkovsky wrote. “Nevertheless, Mrs. Lopez continued to engage in similar behavior, indicating a deliberate ignorance of the Backgrid copyright through a pattern of behavior that undermines the rights of content.
