The constitutional council for Ivory Coast has excluded former President Laurent Gibagbo and opposition leader Tijin Tham from the presidential elections on October 25. Both of them were removed from the electoral registry – Thiam on citizenship cases and GBAGBO due to a criminal conviction – which wipes the way for President Wattara’s offer for the fourth period.
