“It is still cheaper than the application of applications”: the user reveals the penetration to avoid Zomato, Swiggy

A social media user recently shared a breakthrough for online food without having to pay delivery or statute fees. The user, known as Krisha, wrote on X (previously Twitter) that she stopped using food delivery applications such as Zomato and Swiggy.

She only calls for her regular positions to put her order and then get the request using a delivery service like Rapido or Uber Course.

“I stopped using Zomato/Swiggy. Now I just call my regular time, they pack food and send Uber/Rapido to receive it. Even after the delivery cost of $ 50 to 100 dollars, it is still cheaper than the application demand (thanks to Markups, platform fees, committees).

Soon after her participation, she participated in social media, user colleagues shared their own stories. One of the users commented: “Our usual place in Mumbai has two parts. 1 for Zomato/Swiggy and 1 orders for direct requests. Live orders have provided us with money and the largest sizes of the largest parts as well.”

“I agree. Both Zomato and Zaghi are looting clients. Yesterday, I analyzed and discovered that the cut food before GST was cheaper than reducing interest rates after GST as it increased the delivery of the delivery partner, packaging fees, etc. This was not expected of you.”

“Recently, I went to Kentucky Fried Chicken and asked for food that is one kilometer away from my house. Since I asked for some chicken pieces it was already and got my food in 5 minutes. I was just examined in Zumto, and the same food was appearing 850 while my bill was already 550.

Others, however, was against the user’s way to order food.

One user said: “Zomato and Swigy fees are troublesome, but they are at least dealt with chaos … Get your way all of you.”

One user commented: “In the end, Zomato only solves this problem. It is a huge calling center that quickly deals with breaking. But the communication model is not developed, otherwise Zomato would have adapted it. They have built programs for some reason.”

Another user commented: “It is a smart way to reduce hidden costs. The key is to achieve a balance between savings with comfort, and if local sites provide reliable service, this method is completely logical.”
