Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya agreed to improve a contract with the club, according to a BBC Sport report.

Raya joined Arsenal in a permanent deal in July last year after spent the 2023-24 season on loan from Brentord.

Its expiration with Gunners until the end of the 2027-28 season.

It is understood that the length of the deal did not extend. However, Raya is said to have received an increase in a weekly salary of 100,000 pounds.

It is believed that the improvement has been agreed in the summer, but it was not officially announced by Arsenal, which was reported in a similar arrangement with Lendro Trossard without officially announcing it.

Raya has appeared 105 games with Arsenal since its first loan was transferred from Brentford.

The Spain International has 45 clean sheets for The Gunners and won the Golden Glove Award for the most Premier League papers in each of the last two seasons, sharing honor with Matz Sels of Nottingham Forest in the previous campaign.
