This is the fourth time that Israel has attacked the Lebanese capital since November stopped with Hezbollah.
A series of Israeli strikes targeted the southern outskirts of Beirut on the eve of the Muslim Eid holiday, nearly an hour after the Israeli army issued a forced evacuation of the population in the areas that it says held the underground facilities used by the Lebanese Hezbollah group.

“You are next to Hezbollah’s infrastructure,” Adri said in a social media post, which included a map of buildings. The letter in Arabic indicated that Israel will bomb the region soon.
After the evacuation order, the Lebanese media reported that the region had almost emptied the population, who were preparing to celebrate the Islamic holiday for the Eid except. Reports said the matter was closed as “warning strikes” could be heard.

The Israeli army accused Hezbollah of manufacturing drones in the region in “a flagrant violation of an understanding between Israel and Lebanon.”
The army said the Israeli army “will work to remove any threat to the State of Israel and its citizens and prevent any attempt to re -establish the terrorist organization Hezbollah.”
