Israel has raised air strikes in Gaza City in recent days

Israel launched its attack on the main planned land for a long time in Gaza City, where heavy air strikes took place overnight, as the forces pushed the edges of the city.

Thousands of Palestinians were forced to flee one coastal road to the middle of the tape, where they joined hundreds of thousands who already fled.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that a “strong operation” was launched against the “last large stronghold” in Hamas amid sharp criticism from the United Kingdom and other countries.

The attack comes as the United Nations investigation committee that found it Israel was committing the genocide in Gaza.

Huge columns of Palestinians were seen flowing south in donkeys, vehicles, and compounds linked to the highest property, and watching.

Large parts of Gaza City have already been destroyed in the early stages of the war in 2023, although about a million Palestinians have returned to their homes since then – often between the buildings that were bombed.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) estimate that 350,000 people have now escaped, although more than half a million remained in the city. Everyone is asked to flee south to a “human area” in a coastal part of the tape.

Witness: “Fear makes us flee.” Say the Ghazan of the displaced

Many Palestinians say they cannot go to the south, while others say southern and central Gaza are not safe because Israel has carried out air strikes there as well. Some say they tried to go south, but they did not find a space to showcase their tents, so they returned.

“I had to sell my jewelry to cover the cost of the displacement is dire.”.

“It took ten hours to reach Khan Yunis, and we paid 3,500 shekels (735 pounds) to ride. The auto and truck line looked endless.”

A map showing Gaza and highlighting the areas that are either Israeli military areas or under Israeli evacuation orders. It indicates that most Gaza - the estimated 82 % - is now subject to the agreement of these two designations, including the entire Gaza City in the north.

Amjad, 33, told the BBC that the noise of the bombing, “the division of the ear” at night, was afraid of his disabled brother Ahmed.

“He kept putting his hand on his ears … and trembling with fear. I had to calm him down and told him that we will leave soon. She was one of the worst nights in his life.”

The Hamas -running Ministry of Health in Gaza says that 59 people have been killed and at least 386 wounded during the past 24 hours. He adds that three people died as a result of famine and malnutrition, including one child.

Israel, Israeli defense minister, wrote to Israel Katz, “Gaza is burning”, with the start of the attack. “The Israeli Defense Army matures with an iron grip in the terrorist infrastructure and the Israeli Defense Army soldiers fight courageously to create the conditions for release of the hostages and the defeat of Hamas.”

An Israeli Defense Army official said he believed that up to 3,000 fighters in Hamas remained in the city.

“Hamas has turned Gaza City into the largest human shield in history,” said Israeli defense spokesman Brej Jin Evie Devi.

“We are still urging civilians to stay away from the combat areas in Gaza City so that they can reach safer areas,” he said in a press conference.

Watch: The explosions over the Gaza horizon that were seen from southern Israel

The process attracted a large -scale international condemnation, as the United Nations Human Rights President Folker Turk described it as “completely not completely acceptable.”

In another reaction:

  • UK Foreign Minister Efit Cooper described the “completely reckless and horrific” attack, saying that he “will only bring more bloodshed, kill more innocent civilians and at risk the remaining hostages”.
  • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Türkiye said that the attack was a new stage in Israel’s “genocide plans” and warned that it would lead to a mass exodus
  • German Foreign Minister Johan Wadil said it was the “completely wrong path” and called for diplomacy.

But it seems that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio provides implicit support for the Israeli operation during a joint press conference with Netanyahu on Monday, saying that the United States preferred the end of negotiating the war, but “sometimes when it deals with a group of brutality like Hamas, this is not possible.”

The recent United Nations Investigation Committee said a report The “strongest and most reliable United Nations so far” was in the war. However, it does not officially talk about the United Nations.

Among the results was that the Israeli security forces committed “sexual and sexual violence”, and the children directly targeted the intention of killing them, and carrying out a “large -scale systematic attack” on religious, cultural and educational sites in Gaza.

“The genocide agreement was born from the darkest seasons of humanity,” said Navi Pillay, Chairman of the Committee that produced the report.

“Today, we are witnessing in real time how the promise of not to break and test it again in the eyes of the world,” she added.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that it categorically rejected the report, and introduced it as “distorted and false.”

Israel launched its war in Gaza in response to the Hamas -led attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, where about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others took hostage.

Israel has killed at least 64,964 people during its campaign since then – nearly half of them, women and children, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

With the declaration of starvation in the region by an unaccounted object, the United Nations has prompted the intensification of the attack to push civilians to a “deeper disaster”.
