Is Martin Marietta Materials (MLM) among the best under-the-radar AI stocks?

Katherine Thompson, CEO of Thompson Research Group, said on a recent CNBC show that she likes MLMs amid the company’s exposure to artificial intelligence. Here’s why the analyst likes the stock:

“The thing is, there’s been a lot of talk about AI over the last couple of years, but the first companies to see it are actually heavy materials companies, and we’ve already seen that. I have a few other examples. Martin Marietta Materials Inc (NYSE:MLM) is one example — a great way to reuse an aggregate quarry is to build a massive plant, and they’re doing exactly that in Texas,” Vulcan said. Materials has projects worth $35 billion that are directly related not only to artificial intelligence and data centers but also to energy accumulation.
