Israel and Iran launched a new wave of missile strikes against each other, as the conflict between the two countries escalated.

The Israeli Defense Forces said that the second round of the Iranian missiles were heading towards Israel. The army had intercepted the first wave late on Saturday, when explosions were seen in the sky over Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

The paramedics said that 14 people were hit in a house in northern Israel after Iran fired a barrage of missiles towards Haifa, one of the most important ports of the country.

The Israel Defense Army said it attacked military targets in Tehran, including the headquarters of the Iranian Ministry of Defense. The government media said that the Israeli strikes targeted oil and fuel warehouses.
