However, in recently reported the theft, the BCCI office security guard at the Wankhede stadium had taken the desire at another level, as a fully cardboard was stolen filled with blouses from the BCCI office store.

According to reports from The Times of India, the 40 -year -old security guard, full cartoon of shirts, who was supposed to have a total of 261 shirts, which was said to be worth 6.52 Indian rupees by BCCI.
The accident occurred in the BCCI office at Wankhede Stadium in Churchgate, where he took a carton filled with shirts that cost about 2,500 each.
Although the theft may have been made on June 13, it entered into the BCCI notification during the recent audit report, which found some contradictions in the stocks. CCTV footage found that the alleged security guard holds a carton full of blouses. BCCI officials filed a police complaint at the Marine Drive Police Station on July 17.
The officials said: “The guard claims that he wanders a little with the agent online, but he has not yet specified the amount he obtained for the deal.”

The alleged security guard, named Farooque Khan, sold the online shirt box to a merchant in Haryana who met on social media. According to what was reported, he sold shares to finance gambling online addiction.
BCCI has not yet performed whether the shirts are supposed to be for players or the general audience they will formally buy. The goalkeeper lives on the Mirai road in Mumbai and sold shirts online while the money was attributed to his account.
The Haryana investigation dealer called for his headquarters, and he answered, saying that he had no idea that the shirts that were sold to him were stolen. The goalkeeper may have told that the entire group was part of ridding the shares due to the renewal of the BCCI office.
50 of these shirts 261 have been recovered, while the goalkeeper claims to have lost all the money in the online gambling, as revealed to TOI. The police will check his bank account to verify details.

BCCI received record revenues in the 24th year
The IPL has proven to be a real golden goose for BCCI, as it contributes to nearly 60 % of its revenues, and has played a decisive role in the high record in BCCI in revenues in the fiscal year 2024.
IPL is now 100 % part of BCCI, and has achieved a big jump in revenue, and the game has spread in the country. BCCI achieved annual revenues of 9741.7 crimes in the fiscal year 2023-24. IPL alone raised revenues of about 5761 Indian rupees (approximately). Even the International Criminal Court relies largely on BCCI to get the largest part of its financing.
