IPL 2025 to be postponed? The Governing Council invites an emergency meeting after giving up the PBKS match against DC

According to the IPL Board of Directors, an emergency meeting called for the continuous decree of the IPL 2025 fate due to the escalating tension between India and Pakistan.

Development comes in the back of the match between the Punjab and Delhi Kings. Both teams were playing at the HPCA stadium in Daramsala on Thursday (May 8) when the authorities canceled the match and asked the fans to evacuate the stadium immediately.

The game was canceled after 10.1 of the roles of Benjab al -Kings. Soon after the first delivery of the eleventh, one of the light towers came out on the field before the players were asked to leave the stadium. BCCI soon issued a statement saying that the match was abandoned due to a “major technical failure” at the HPCA stadium.

“Because of the power outages in the area, one of the light towers at the HPCA. BCCI spoiled the inconvenience that caused the presence in the rhythm,” BCCI stated.

The IPL Board of Directors invites the emergency meeting:

Immediately after the match, the IPL 2025 match between the Punjab kings and Delhi was canceled, and it is called the IPL board of directors. According to reports, the ruling council is likely to receive an invitation on the IPL 2025 at the meeting.

According to The Times of India Sahil Malhotra, the IPL teams are in a state of panic, and may lead to the postponement of the championship.
