India said early on Wednesday that its armed forces had strikes against Pakistan and what Pakistan’s Jammu and Kashmir are being called, targeting “terrorist infrastructure.”
“The focus has been on our actions, measuring them and non -level in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted,” said the country’s Ministry of Defense.
The statement said that this operation followed a hard -line attack in Paalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 26 people were killed last month and targeted nine sites.
The statement said: “We are living on the commitment that those responsible for this attack will receive responsibility,” adding that India has shown “a major control in choosing goals and the method of implementation.”
The Ministry of Defense said it will reserve a detailed briefing on the strikes, called the “Sindoor Operation”, later in the day.
“Pakistan has every right to give a strong response to this act of the war imposed by India, and a strong response is already.”
