Increased retirement age for trading pilots to 67 years: iaa

Since the growth of the aviation industry around the world causes the demand for freezing for pilots, IATA has called for an increase in retirement age for pilots who perform multi -division commercial air transportation for two years to 67.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has accepted the International Air Transport Association working paper on increasing the piercing age for pilots to consider it by the 42nd ICAO association to be held in Montreal next week.

According to reports, the experimental deficiency is likely to reach 6,00,000 by 2030. In 2006, ICAO has implemented the recommended standards and practices (SARPS) to raise the minimum of 60 to 65 for pilots who perform multi -term international commercial transport.

This paper said: “Based on the work that ICAO has already carried out through the group of medical rulings study during the past 19 years, given the extension of the age limits, this paper suggests that ICAO now consider lifting the age to 67 years.”

He said that raising the trial limits of cats to allow more pilots to continue the work ensures that there is sufficient supplies, whether employing the older candidates or keeping currently two currently visits, from the future aviation specialists, that the association that represents about 350 airlines includes more than 80 % of the global air traffic.

“Raising the minimum age from 65 years to 67 years is a cautious but reasonable step that may consider countries to consider safety with the support of CAT operations. He explains that three states – Canada, Australia and New Zealand – have no annual borders of pilots, including pilots who are carrying out Cat over the past twenty to 30 years. This is primarily related to state legislation that prohibits discrimination based on age. These states have not recorded an increase in aviation safety events in pilots over 65 years old in CAT.
