Nearly two years after Traveling around the worldI learned some breakfast travel. One of my favorite ways to save money when outside? Using ESIM.

If you are not aware ESIM conceptIt is a digital SIM installed on your phone that allows you to access a mobile network without an actual SIM card. Using ESIM for all mobile data abroad means that I do not have to worry about expensive roaming fees from the American mobile provider or buy an actual SIM for a local network every time I enter a new country.

When I learned that Esim Provider Gigsky was providing qualified visa card holders for a 15 -day free data plan, I was curious. I haven’t seen this offer widely discussed in credit card rewards, and I haven’t heard about Gigsky before. Perhaps this will be a useful and free benefit I will add to my list of Favorite credit cards advantages. It may be a two -week disaster that there is no data and technical problems.

There was only one way to find out.

Once the previous ESIM scheme ends, hold Trusted – Expressing signature card that I will use to reach this offer- I went to Gigsky.

What do you know about the vehicle visa display

From now to November 15, 2027, holders of the cards qualifying for the infinite cards can obtain a free global mobile data plan through Gigsky to grant access to mobile phone data more than 175 countries.

The signature card card gives you a free 1 GB plan for 15 days, while the Infinite Visa card gives you a 3 GB/15 -day plan. After your free plan has expired, you will also get a constant discount on all paid plans: 20 % discount on the signature card signature and 30 % discount on the infinite visa card holders. You can recover a free plan once for each evaluation year.

For free data plan and discount, you should add your card as a default payment method in the Gigsky app.

Qualified cards

This offer applies to all the signing of the infinite visas and cards in the United States, in addition to choosing visa cards issued in Canada and Latin America.

Common signature signing cards include:

The infinite cards include the famous visa:

Requesting the offer

I started heading to Official offer page To read the details. I also noticed that Gigsky was submitting a file Free 100MB experience ESIM for everyone, there is no required visa card. If you are not eligible to display the visa, this deserves to check this offer.

I read through Conditions and terms To display the visa. The terms were clear, and I saw no red flags or “Gotchas”. Satisfied, I downloaded the Gigsky app to demand the offer.

On the home page, I immediately saw a link to check my eligibility to view the visa.

After clicking on the link, I was asked to enter my card number to check my eligibility. I introduced my favorite card in Chase Sapphire and I was told I am qualified for a 1 GB/15 -day data plan and a 20 % discount on all paid plans. I appreciate how they put the details in the foreground, so there was no confusion about what I was getting.

By following the application claims, I created an account and added the preferred SAPPHIRES Cess as my default payment method. The application brought me back to the home page, where I now saw a link to recover the offer linked to my specific card. I click on it, set the free plan, and make sure that the total demand was $ 0, and verified it.

ESIM preparation

I used a lot of different Esims, but Gigsky was so easier.

I found my new ESIM under the Gigsky tab. It has not yet been activated. According to conditionsYou have up to one year after recovering your free data plan before automatically activated.

I clicked on the “ESIM” link, then clicked on “Yes” to confirm the confirmation. It took about a minute to download ESIM. Then my phone pushed me to choose a new basic SIM card (because it is a double SIM) and restart. I was completely surprised, because the previous ESIMS from other companies requests some additional preparation steps, but it seems that Gigsky can be installed with one download.

After restarting my phone, the new ESIM did not immediately a signal, it was normal. In my experience, it usually takes a few minutes for the newly installed ESIM to connect to the network. My phone was reintegrated again, then I finally managed to connect to the Gigsky network. I have reviewed that the basic ESIM was set to access the mobile phone data to Gigsky instead of the American service provider, who operated my data, and that was – I was connected to the Internet.

Using ESIM

I used ESIM for a full 15 days of the free plan, and had a positive experience often despite some hiccups.

I was in Hanoi, Vietnam, when I downloaded ESIM, and worked on the first day.

The speeds were often 4G/LTE or 5G, and I can access the mobile phone data whenever I needed without a problem. Webpage, Google Maps and even the transverse video that has been downloaded quickly.

I can check the amount of time and data that remain in the plan through the Gigsky app. There, I also saw the option to buy additional plans, with a 20 % signature signature discount reflected in the prices.

But after a few days, my data suddenly stopped working. My phone showed that I was connected to the “H” network – which I later learned is a type of 3G network, one step away on the internet speed of 4G/LTE. But although I was technically connected to the data, the web page I was trying to reach will not be downloaded. After returning to my hotel, I reviewed the Gigsky application and confirmed that my plan was still active and I had a lot of data.

My data connection was intermittent in the next two days, sometimes it works and sometimes no. I tried to turn on ESIM, turn it off, restart my phone, run the plane and turn it off, but I couldn’t find a reliable solution. This mode continued to run for two days before I was able again to access the data constantly every time I tried. I have never counted what the exact problem is, but I stop working randomly from working randomly, so I don’t think it is an exclusive problem for Gigsky. Sometimes, you just have to accept this technology is not perfect.

During the second half of my 15 -day plan, I traveled from Hanoi to Kat Ba, an island on the coast of Vietnam. Since Cat Ba is a little more remotely, I was worried about the mobile phone signal there. I was surprised by the pleasure that everything was working perfectly. I had constantly 4G/LTE or 5G data and I had no problem with internet connection when I needed it.

The end of the show

I paid special attention when my free plan ended, only if this was one of the “free experimental that turns into an automatic subscription unless it was canceled.” (Conditions and conditions did not suggest anything of this kind, but in a world of SubscriptionI have developed healthy vigilance.)

I am pleased to report this was not the case. When my plan ended, that was. I could no longer access the data despite the ESIM staying on my phone, and whenever I tried, I received a notice, he told me that my plan had ended. I was not automatically registered in a new paid plan, and my credit card was never imposed.

I can see the details of my original plan in the application, as well as buy a new plan if desired.

Li 1 GB of data until the end of the 15 -day plan. I used the data slightly, while keeping my mobile phone data only virtual and only honored when you need it to move or searches on the web, or check messages or email while moving. I used Wi-Fi whenever you can see videos or pass social media using mobile phone data. If your habits are similar to me, the free 1GB data plan must be sufficient to spend short vacations.

Do I recommend Gigsky Esim?

Esims is invaluable when you travel abroad, and I am happy to partnership with Gigsky to bring this benefit to card holders. Although it is not Most archaeological is preferred than your sapphire money – A data plan around the world with a capacity of 1 GB similar to the free plan that is usually sold for $ 20 through Gigsky- it is definitely one of the most practical.

If you travel internationally, the free plan can help you reduce one additional cost while allowing you to access the Internet appropriately wherever you go. Gigsky is good like any other ESIM you used, and I love the number of Gigsky offers, including data plans in more than 175 countries and cruise packages.

But the negative side of Gigsky is the cost. Gigsky prices at the end of the ESIM market, and a little more expensive than the ESIM provider that I was using (Escapesim). For this reason, I ended up noting my bone plan. I certainly recommend the free plan for any qualified visa card holders who are heading abroad to spend a short vacation, but if your data needs or timeline lines to travel to buy a paid plan are recommended, recommend comparing costs between many service providers before adhering to anyone.
