Hurricane Eric is “very dangerous” because it approaches Mexico

The American Hurricane Center (NHC) says that the hurricane has strengthened into a “very dangerous” storm of the fourth category, as it is heading towards the Pacific coast of Mexico.

The maximum of sustainable winds in the storm was near 220 km/h (140 miles per hour) early Thursday local time.
