With iOS 18introduced by Apple Apple intelligencewhich includes an AI-powered feature to summarize notifications. When you get a bunch of notifications from a single app, the feature summarizes the content of all the notifications into a single card that appears on the lock screen. You can dismiss the stack after reading the summary, or tap it to check individual notifications.

However, the feature is not always accurate. Sometimes it leads to Hilarious results,And other times it fails to summarize and include the content of notifications correctly The inaccuracy is obvious. If you think notification summaries are confusing rather than helpful, you can turn them off or customize them.

On iPhone/iPad

Head to Settings > Notifications and tap the Notifications Summary tab. There are two options: You can turn off AI-powered notification summaries for all apps by toggling the Notification Summarization option at the top, or you can turn off notifications on a per-app basis.

On Mac

Click the Apple menu in the upper left corner Go to System Settings > Notifications. Click the Notification Summarization tab, and then turn off Notification Summarization. As with the iPhone/iPad settings options, you can turn off notification summaries for specific apps.

There’s no way to turn off notification summaries for a specific app category, such as News, Productivity, Utilities, Shopping, Travel, and Finance.

Apple said in January that it would be released Software update to better indicate that notification summaries are generated by AI It may have some errors.
