Less than two After weeks Donald Park and Edward CorestineMembers of the so -called Ministry of Governmental efficiency (Doug), Small Business Administration (SBA) introduced a new account on x: doge_sba.

SBA An official x account Since 2010, updates and Refreshares from the agency official, former Republican Senator Kelly Lovler, have been published.

But according to the documents obtained under the request of the Freedom of Information Law (FOIA) and its participation exclusively with WIRE, he was a member of Doge himself who started and manages the new X account. Not only did this apparently do without the involvement of government workers who usually run the agency’s external communications, but in at least one case, they seemed to accept a complaint from the amounts of potential violations on the direct message. It is another example of how Doge works as a separate and non -accountable body within government agencies.

According to the sources familiar with government operations, social media accounts are usually managed, in addition to other channels facing the year, by the agency’s telecommunications employees. Nevertheless, it appears that the social media manager SBA is completely unaware of the account. In an email on March 6, he sent an email to his colleagues with a link to the Doge_sba X account, he writes, “How didn’t I see this before?”

According to an email dated February 16, Park, one of the senior DOGE workers in SBA, has prepared a Doge_SBA account, where he receives an email confirmation from X to add a phone number, which has been revised, to his account. (After he bought Musk the company, it is She changed her policies To allow outstanding subscribers only to use a dual -factor identity via SMS.)

On that same day, the account stabilized republishing Common by Doge X accountAsking the public to help identify waste, fraud and abuse. “Please look at DM to reduce waste, fraud and abuse, along with any useful visions or wonderful ideas, to its relevant companies,” I read the post. The tab bearing the name “subsidiaries” on the DOGE X 32 x page is recounted for a DOGE task account in various agencies, including the Ministry of Internal Security, Social Security Administration, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, and SBA, among other things.

“We helped fight fraud, waste, and use of use in favor of American taxpayers and small companies throughout America. DMS is open!” Doge_sba account was written in its first and only publication, repeating the DOGE’s X account, which is still published regularly on how the alleged agency provides government funds by canceling contracts and services.

Park, Corestine, SBA, and his communications team did not respond to the suspension requests.

A former US government public affairs official, who spoke to WIRED, provided that his identity is not disclosed to protect their identity, that it would be very unusual for a government employee to manage any kind of social media account to confront without knowing public affairs employees.

“Social media has always been a kind of very disputed land in government agencies. It has become larger and larger, more and more people want to use it, other people inside the department will see it as a way to control,” they say. “With regard to Dog, we all saw Duj and do things they had no right to do.”
