How did Abi New Zealand revealed for a period of four years

On September 11, 2021, Tom Philips and his three children were first.

Toyota Hilux is found under the tide line on a beach near his parents ’house in Marukuba on the northern island of New Zealand. The police launched a huge inspection by land, sea and air.

Less than three weeks later, the family returned to the house, where the father claimed that they were on a camping trip.

That was, until the early hours of Monday morning, when the police responded to a report on a robbery attempt to shoot, the death of Mr. Phillips, and an end to a four -year hunt.

Many questions remain about his disappearance, including the reason for taking his children and disappeared in the harsh wilderness of New Zealand, and whether he is able to evade seizing for a long time by help.

When Mr. Phillips returned home for the first time in 2021, he was charged with wasting police resources. The effort to search for the harsh landscapes that are not crowded in the western Whiteomo region, the New Zealand authorities have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.

When he was suspected of stealing a bank in T -Kuwait, a small town in the Whitomo area, the police said there was a partner.

Less than 100 people live in the narrow Marokopa community. While there was no suggestion that his family had helped him, given the custody conflict, there were questions about whether a person knew him helped him stay hidden or know about the location of his existence.

In June 2024, the police issued a reward of $ 80,000 (37,200 pounds) to obtain information that may lead to Mr. Phillips and his three children. The deadline ended without any breakthroughs.

It was then seen in October. They were monitored by a group of teenage swine fishermen who were wandering through the bush around Marocopa and imagined the brief meeting on their phones.

In the beloved shots, Mr. Phillips can be seen driving his children through rugged terrain, and they all wear camouflage clothes, rainy coins and large back bags.

A quad bike was seen carrying two people heading towards Marukopa. The police put mutations along the road, and when this quadruple bike was arrested, the officers said they had fired.

Police said that the first officer arrived at the scene of the accident was shot in the head and remains in a serious condition. Police said a second officer had returned fire and Mr. Phillips died at the scene.

Police said that the child with him was not hurt and provided the police with information that prompted them to the other two children, who were in a distant camp in the bush between Marocopa and T -Kuwaiti in conditions close to the freezing.
