This article contains Spoilers For “Foundation” Season 3, Episode 7, “The End of the Foundation”.

The dawn of the third season of Apple TV+Season 3, Hari Seldon story, A wife who is emerging from the foundationsAnd the fossil galaxy empire. After two seasons of the stage, the real throwing in the form of a pulp (pilou asbæk) – and I was not excited. The character that dominates the mind appeared in the opening law of the season, where he dealt with a global leader, transformed an army against himself, swept a planet, all without lifting a finger. In episode 7, his powers use the risk of the capital’s planet for the Foundation in Terminus itself with a terrifying effect.

However, the most disturbing part of the latest episode was not to invade the party. This was the way the episode started and ended with the background of the mule. It opens on the outstanding outdoor Rossem planet. (Side note: This name is it An interesting link for the author ISAAC ASIMOV, too.) There is a young mule with his parents and newborn brothers. Local law enforcement officers arrive, discover the child, and reveal to viewers that there is a strict ban on multiple families.

By the end of the episode, the horrific story reached a terrifying conclusion as the mule’s father tries to flood it within the legal limits of family sizes. This opens the mental forces of the emerging villain and leads him to killing his parents in a terrible mixture of self -defense and cold blood. The entire story explains the reason why the mule reaches the point in which the planets oppose and reveals its opponents as he commits terrifying violence and self -wounds under its control. But this is the great thing: the story of the origin of the Galactic Backwoods Murder Origin is not the background of the books.

The rear mule book is less chilling – but more important

The David S. Goyer show showed that he is not afraid to make changes in its “basis” adaptation, and get it. I have been registered before Agreement with the common consensus that this series of books (which I have read twice in recent years) is not adaptable. Creative decisions and technical licensing were inevitable in any adaptation. However, the 3 season had some of the biggest changes ever, Including the main adjustments to the mule. One of these is Separate his personality from Magnifico GiGanticus characters. In the books, the mule is denied as a Magnifio trying to discover the second foundation in an infiltrated way, but in the show, they treat it as separate characters of a cleaner story. Again, get it. It is a different way, you have limited time, Yadda Yadda. But this primary change in the background of the mule reinforces me a little. This is the reason.

In books, the mule comes from a unique planet called Gaya. The people who lived there were guided by robots for several centuries because they developed mental abilities and then wandered them in a collective force that included the entire planet. Gaya is an important part of the foundation story at a later time, but for our purposes here, in the book “Foundation’s Edge”, it was revealed that the mule came from Gaia.

Gulle is the Jayan rebel

Soon after the discovery of Gaiai in books, one of the residents called DOM explains:

(Al -Balle) was anomalous and left.

To you where I stumble a little with this change. Rossem version of MULE for season 3 works, but its effect will not exceed the shepher. Once this villain overcomes, his start on the background planet will not matter much. In books, binding the mule with Jaya creates a greater sense of continuity through the entire story as the focus is on the planet of mental organisms at a later time.

It seems like a lost chance, but I am sure there are reasons for change. The fans may not want to present Gaya yet. Perhaps they will replace the GAIA with GAL and the second basis for simplifying the story (such as MULE/Magnifico). Perhaps they wanted to keep this season only self -sufficient if the show is not picked up for the fourth season. Whatever the reason, if we get more “basis” after the third season (and no one wants it more than me), we can expect to raise the amazing bets of the dangers that we saw in the third season to continue moving forward. A clamp, and the people: the second basis and the mule facing a collision cycle, and if that makes this pieces for this particular adaptation, it may not be a gay away from the knees.

“Basis” flows on Apple TV+.
