A missile fired from Yemen on Sunday, Central Israel, near the main station of the international airport near Tel Aviv. The strike led to a temporary suspension of trips, but there are no reports on deaths.
The Israeli army said it had made many efforts to intercept the missile and that an impact was determined in the Ben Gurion Airport area. The army added that the episode was under review.
Israel’s ambulance service said that she was treating two people who were injured by the explosion and a third person who was injured while nominating shelter.
The videos and photos published on social media showed a large column of dark smoke that rises from an open area near Station 3, which is the main international airline station, where the sirens were crying and running people to cover.
It seems that the road near the airport is covered with dirt and shrapnel.
In a statement shortly before the missile attack, the Israel Airport Authority said it was scheduled to arrive or leave 422 international flights on Sunday. After the strike, the airport authority said that flights were suspended according to the protocol, but the airport is expected to start working again.
The Iranian -backed Houthi militia, which was launching the missiles in Israel in solidarity with Hamas in Gaza, resumed its launch after Israel ended in its war there in mid -March. The Israeli army managed to intercept most missiles, although missile fragments were often throughout Israel.
