Hilton Cartwright did not have a great outing with the bat as he managed just 18 runs with the bat. He came to bat at five years old and looked scratchy. Cartwright faced 17 balls during his stay at the crease and struck out just one four balls in his innings.
With the kind of knock he dealt, this seems to be the curtain call for him in this edition of the Big Bash League. Melbourne Stars hopes that he will regain his fitness and return to the team by the latter half of the ongoing tournament.
