Leeds are likely to try to do business in January, as they seek to give themselves the best opportunity to stay in the Premier League. A rational midfielder can be on the agenda, and one of their goals will be available when reopening the transport window.
Brenden Aronson is the only natural midfielder for Daniel Fark team, and so far, he was not at his best in the Premier League. As such, it will not be surprising to see this position directed in January, and one player that fits the bill is Lorenzo Pellegrini.
Lorenzo Pellegrini asked Leeds to leave Rome

Pellegrini, which was previously associated with Summer transfer to West HamThe Roma barely appeared this season, with no relying on a new coach Jian Piero Jassibini on his captain. For this reason, it was decided to allow him to leave in January, according to Teamtalk (across Leeds United News).
Pellegrini was not included in the Italian team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in September, and it will remain out of competition if he does not play regularly. For this reason, he was said to move to another place in order to give himself an opportunity to choose for the prestigious championship, which is held next summer throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Leeds will feel a good opportunity to persuade Pellegrini to join them in January, given his position. If he will reach the Ellend Road, the possibility is that it will be a regular start for Farke, given that he has a lot of experience in playing at the highest level of European football, while his quality is also more than good enough to see him playing a lot in the Premier League.
