Police opened fire on a police suspect in Manchester after a knife and a car on a synagogue behind four people who were injured.
The Greater Manchester Police said on Thursday that they were called to the Hebrew Hitton Park Synagogue at about 9:30 am. The force said the attacker was driving a car to the audience.
GMP said: “The bullets were fired by the Greater Manchester Arms officers at 9.38 am. One man was shot, and he is believed to be the perpetrator,” GMP said.
The police added: “Currently, four members of the public have wounds resulting from both wounds and stabbing.”
The accident is located on the Yom Kippur Jewish vacation, the most sacred day of the year in religion.
Andy Bourneham, the BBC’s Greater Mayor of Manchester, told the suspect that is believed to be dead.
“It seems that the immediate danger has ended and GMP has dealt with it very quickly,” Bbc Radio told BBC Radio.
