On Monday, January 13, user on Xformerly known by his Twitter handle, @spikedteatalk, took to the platform to share footage that appears to be from one of his recent live broadcasts in Tokyo.

Tokyo explained in the clip that Dream did not “disrespect her.”

“She handled it the way she should.” Tokyo confirmed. “It’s social media. It’s not a character… ‘Grandma’ — that makes her a real character (and) really likable.”

As she continued her explanation, she explained that Dream seemed to know that she would make a “fuss” about being by the stove while cooking with her mother.

From there, the clip cuts to what appears to be another moment from the live broadcast in Tokyo. Furthermore, she reiterated that Dream definitely calls her “grandma” outside of social media. However, on social media, Dream can continue to do whatever she pleases.

“She doesn’t call me Tony, or Tokyo, or Shalana,” she said. “She can refer my name to anyone on the Internet! That’s my mother’s name – let’s make it clear who she’s talking about… Clear! She’s just one ***** mother. There’s no more Tokyo Toni. No one. There’s no place with that name… “

Finally, Tokyo said that she “doesn’t mind anyone using” her nickname while referring to her in conversation.

“Isn’t that what they’re supposed to say?” She added.

Before heading off, Tokyo Toni assured that her granddaughter is “very smart… and beautiful in every sense of the word.”
