Newcastle Edi Haw, the star Alexander Isak, will need to prove himself again before joining full training with the team, amid speculation about his future.

The Swedish striker was in the center of transport rumors in recent weeks, with reports in July that he was open to the departure of St. James Park.

This speculation was intensified last Friday when Newcastle rejected an offer of 110 million pounds from Liverpool. In the midst of uncertainty, Isaac was trained alone in his former, real club.

He did not travel with the team on their tour before the season in Asia, as the club pointed to a “minor thigh injury” as a cause of his absence.

However, reports indicate that the 25 -year -old returned to the club training on Monday.

Speaking to Newcastle Chronicle, Howe admitted that he had not spoken directly with ISAK since the Liverpool offer.

“He is like any other player, we expect him to come and train as usual,” Haw said.

However, the Newcastle coach also released a strong message about what he expects from all his players in terms of commitment and professional efficiency, adding: “You have to win the right to train with us.

“We Newcastle United. The player holds a responsibility here to be part of a team and part of a group – you have to act right. So this is also in playing here.

“We will make sure that any player does this to gain the right to training with the group. No player can expect to act badly and train with the group as usual.”

No clarity on the ISak deal

Izak, who joined Magpies from Real Sociedad in the club of 60 million pounds at the time in 2022, had a distinguished season last year.

He scored 27 goals in 42 games, playing a major role in qualifying the Champions League in Newcastle over the fifth place in the Premier League. The net was also found in the 2-1 League Cup final over Liverpool.

Hao team concluded its schedule before the season with a 1-1 draw against Tottenham in Seoul. After the match, when he was asked if Issak was scheduled to return to training, Hao replied: “Of course I would like it, but if it is, I don’t know at this moment of time.

“Other people deal with this situation at home.”
