Harvey Elliot admitted that he weighs his future in Liverpool, and insists that he does not want to “waste” years of his career by sitting on the sidelines – even in the club he loves heavily.

The 22 -year -old midfielder was a peripheral figure last season under the opening of ARNE, which made only two of the Premier League beginnings, both in matches after Liverpool have already achieved the title.

Among its 28 manifestations in all competitions, it was only six beginnings, and only 822 minutes of work scored, although five goals were scored and the addition of three assists.

This was a sharp decrease from the previous season, when Elliot made 53 games (27 beginnings), which contributed four goals and 11 assists in a breakthrough campaign.

Now, before the 21 -year -old European Championship in Slovakia, Elliot says it is time to think, and perhaps re -evaluation.

Elliot told reporters: “I don’t really want to waste years in my career because it is a short profession,” Elliot told reporters.

“I need to think. I need to know if you are satisfied with doing what I do and how I can improve it as a player because this is the most important thing.

While Elliot admitted that he had a lot of time for the club: “I love the club, I love the fans, the team.

“If this should go to another place, this is a decision that I will have to make. Nothing makes me want to leave … but it is only about my career.”

The complexity of the matters that Liverpool reported about Liverpool’s interest in Bayer Leverkusen Florian Wesroz, a player who is likely to occupy the same creative midfield areas as Elliot. This possible signature can push England U21 to the bottom of the attackers.

Elliot also indicated the impact of the broken foot he suffered in September, which kept him for about three months. He returned in December and expressed his hope that his dramatic winner will be against Paris Saint -Germain in the first 16 Champions League match is a turning point.

He said: “I thought Paris Saint -Germain was a great kind for me … I thought it was an opportunity for me to get a beginning and show what I could do.”

“But the president is the president. It is why we won the league, I cannot complain.”
