Former Vice President Kamala Harris sat with Rachel Mado from MSNBC on Monday for her first interview since her loss Donald Trump In the presidential elections 2024.
Harris, 60, has not retreated, described her Republican opponent as a “tyrant” and American executives, what she considered, as a surrender to Trump.
Harris said: “I have worked closely with the private sector for many years, and I always thought that if the payment comes to the fissure, these mighty men of industry will be handrails for our democracy, because of the importance of preserving democratic institutions,” Harris said. “And one by one, they were silent. They were, as you know, yes, I use the word feckless.”

Harris mocked the idea that the billionaire category would lose a yacht or their home in Hamptons if they spoke against Trump. She said that capitalism flourishes in the shadow of democracy better than authoritarian regimes.

“Democracy maintains capitalism. Capitalism flourishes in democracy. At the present time, we deal with it – as I called it in my words about the pituitary pieces – overwhelming. We are used to comparing our democracy’s power of Communist dictators. This is what we are dealing with now in Donald Trump. These fondness are not talking about it.”
Harris She said that she understood her hesitation to speak against the president, noting that his administration was followed after his critics.

“But at some point, they have to defend for the people who rely on all these institutions to obtain integrity and at some point they are handrails against the tyrant who uses the federal government to implement his whims and fancy because of the fragile ego,” Harris said.

An interview on Monday night on MSNBC came a day before the launch of her new book, “107 Days”, which will tell her loud experience in replacing the former president Joe Biden Also, the Democratic Presidential candidate for 2024, after he left the race.
