Trump’s plan includes several points that have not been addressed in Hamas statement, including the demand for the disarmament of the group.

The armed group also said it appreciated “Arab, Islamic and international efforts, as well as US President Donald Trump’s efforts” to resolve the conflict.

Hashem said: “Hamas has shown a lot of positivity here by accepting the spirit of the paper and praising President Trump’s initiative. In this way, they show that they are ready to extend their hands,” Hashem said.
