Hamas discussed “ideas” to stop Gaza by shooting after Trump’s warning

Hamas says it has received “some ideas” from the United States through brokers on how to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

The Palestinian Armed Group said it is discussing how to develop ideas, noting that it was ready to launch the 48 hostages in Gaza in exchange for a “clear” declaration that ends the war.

One of the Palestinian officials told the BBC that the American plan will witness the hostile hostages in the first 48 hours of the 60 -day truce in exchange for Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons and good negotiations at all.

This came after US President Donald Trump gave Hamas what he called “the last warning” to agree on a deal. He said that Israel accepted its conditions, without giving details.

The Israeli Foreign Minister, Gideon Sar, said that he is ready to agree to a deal that ends the war that will include the launch of all hostages – only 20 of them believed to be alive – and the removal of Hamas.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned nearly a million Palestinians living in Gaza City, which is affected by the evacuation immediately, as the Israeli army climbed an attack on its oppression.

“In the last two days, we dropped 50 terrorists, and this is only the beginning of the ground operation in Gaza City,” he said in a video clip. “I say to the residents of Gaza City: You have been warned, get out there.”

Hospitals said that the Israeli attacks killed at least 40 people throughout Gaza on Monday, including 25 in Gaza City and other places in the north.

The Israeli army said four soldiers were killed in a fight in northern Gaza.

On Sunday evening, Hamas made a statement that “through the brokers some ideas from the American side were received aimed at reaching the ceasefire agreement” and that he welcomed the initiative.

“The movement is in constant contact with brokers to develop these ideas in a comprehensive agreement that meets the needs of our people,” he added.

Hamas said it was ready to negotiate immediately the launch of all those who were taken hostage during the group’s attack on Israel on October 7, 2023 in exchange for “a clear declaration to end the war, complete withdrawal from Gaza, and form a committee of Palestinian independents to manage Gaza.”

Earlier in the day, US President Donald Trump wrote about the social truth: “Everyone wants the hostages at home. Everyone wants to end this war! The Israelis accepted myhri. It is time to accept Hamas too.”

“Hamas has warned of the consequences of not accepting. This is my last warning, there will be no other warning!”

A senior Palestinian official told the BBC that, according to the American proposal, all hostages will be released within the first 48 hours of a 60 -day truce against Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons, including those who spend the punishment for life and other long terms, and warriors from Gaza.

According to the official, the proposal also includes a personal guarantee of the US President that both sides will hold good negotiations at the end of the war.

The official said that during the first two weeks of the armistice, negotiations will cover the main issues, including the disarmament of Hamas, the formation of an independent administration body or an administrative committee in Gaza, and arrangements to withdraw the Israeli forces. Humanitarian aid will also flow openly to Gaza.

The framework seems to be aimed at creating a road to a broader settlement while addressing direct humanitarian and security concerns.

Israeli media quoted political sources, saying that Israel was “thinking seriously” in the American plan, but Hamas is likely to face difficulty.

On Monday, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon said at a press conference in Budapest: “President Trump clearly said yesterday, Israel said yes to his suggestion. We are ready to accept a full deal that would end the war based on the cabinet decision.

“Two things should happen. One, our hostage return … (two), Hamas should put their arms.”

Defense Minister Israel Katz warned at the same time: “The release of the hostages and the extinguishing of your weapons – or Gaza will be destroyed and you will be hidden.”

The Israeli army was intensifying its air and land attacks on Gaza City, and on Monday, a fourth tall building was destroyed in a few days.

Video footage verified by the BBC showed the Roya 2 building collapsing after it was hit by two projectiles.

Before the strike, the Israeli army ordered dozens of displaced families who were inside the building to evacuate along those who lived in tents in the surrounding area.

The army said that Hamas fighters responsible for installing “intelligence information and explosive information” were working near the building and “they used it throughout the war to plan terrorist attacks against (Israeli) forces.

“We don’t know what to do and where we go. The bombing is crazy,” Janine Zorroub, a displaced woman who lived in one of the tents, told Reuters. “I am afraid of my children, I fear for myself, and I am afraid of those around me.”

On Saturday, Israel directed the displaced to go to a newly specific “humanitarian area” in southern Gaza because of their “safety.” The area is less than 43 square kilometers (17 square miles), equivalent to about 12 % of the region.

The army said that there is a basic human infrastructure there. However, the United Nations said that tents camps are already crowded and unsafe, and that hospitals operate several times higher than the capacity.

Tom Fletcher, the United Nations Human President, warned that the window is closing quickly to prevent famine in Gaza City – which was confirmed by global food security experts last month – from spreading to the central city of Deir Balah and the southern city of Khan Yunis by the end of this month.

He called for allowing humanitarian assistance to enter into hindrance, as well as protect civilians, cease fire and hostage.

The Israeli army launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the Hamas -led attack on October 7, 2023, where about 1,200 people were killed and 251 others were taken into account.

At least 64,522 people have been killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza since then, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health in the region.

The ministry also says that 393 people have so far passed through the war as a result of malnutrition and hunger, including six hours over the past 24 hours.
